The researched ingredients in Cosequin work together to help support cartilage in your horse’s joints by supporting a healthy cartilage matrix as well as inhibiting certain enzymes that break down cartilage. Formulated with glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate to support joint health. The original researched formula containing proprietary ingredients, FCHG49 Glucosamine and TRH122 Chondroitin Sulfate, not available in other brands. Comes in an easy to administer powder.
Dosage: Initial 2-4 wks for horse under 600 lbs - 2 scoops in AM, 2 scoops in PM; 600-1,200 lb horse - 3 scoops in AM, 3 scoops in PM; horse over 1,200 lbs - 4 scoops in AM, 4 scoops in PM; Long-term administration for horse under 600 lbs - 1 scoop daily, 600-1,200 lb horse - 1-2 scoops daily, horse over 1,200 lbs - 2 scoops daily. May see noticeable changes in 2-4 wk 1400 gms = 424 scoops.
